I was on a horse before I was in a high chair and grew up showing American Saddlebreds in the Midwest circuit. I loved everything in the horse world from the sights, sounds and smell of sawdust in the stalls to the leather in the tack room; leather projects were born from there. As a Texas leather craftsman now, I am passionate about using Bison leather as the Native Americans did and continuing the age old process of the Southwest, sewing by hand (NOT machine) using the traditional saddle stitch to create a sustainable, functional piece of art.
