Handmade Art
Kathy Hill - Founder

Redbud Artisan Market became an idea in 2017 when outdoor shows ceased to be fun! Too unpredictable. So I started my own handmade market with selected artists. Fortunately, some of the best artists in the state are in Central Texas, although I have many participating from farther away, too.

I have had the honor of meeting over 300 talented artists in the past four years and many of them have joined the show more than a few times. My goal has always been to have a quality show with unique handmade art and a wide variety of art mediums.

Redbud Artisan Market has gained recognition and respect in the community over the past four years as one of the higher-quality shows in the state. The success of my artists is the most important aspect of the show. I do my very best to promote each show well and make each event as pleasant an experience as I can for those selling their work. There is nothing easy about participating in an art show. We all know what hard work it is. In comparison, making the art is the easy part!

With our current situation limiting in-person events, I have started an online Redbud Artisan Market Showcase of Artists, with the hope that each artist will be discovered and customers will be sent in their direction. Redbud will not be selling their art, just acting as a collaborative and directing business their way. I hope you will take the time to look at all of the art!

We have started back to in-person shows, some small pop-ups at wineries , and a few larger shows in Fredericksburg at the nice outdoor pavilion of the Market Square.

Then next Fredericksburg show will be December 4 , 10-5 and December 5, 10-4. Come see us!
